Suspect accused of beating his roommate to death has bond revoked

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — William Bordsen, the suspect in a July homicide in east Charlotte, has had his bond revoked, court records show.

The victim, 65-year-old Robert “Bob” Murphy, was found dead in his east Charlotte apartment after what police describe as a brutal beating around 4 a.m. on July 28 following a fight over cigarettes.
