CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A homicide investigation is underway after a man lost his life following a shooting Wednesday night, according to Charlotte Mecklenburg Police.
Just before 11 p.m. on Oct. 8, officers were called to a shooting into a home on Winding Branch Court. They arrived to find 51-year-old Peter Batista Fana shot.
Fana was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but passed away the following day.
