Outside investigation clears Charlotte City Council of corruption allegations

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An outside investigation into allegations of unethical, immoral, or illegal conduct within the Charlotte City Council has found no evidence to support the claims.

The investigation began in early May, after Council Member Victoria Watlington emailed supporters, alleging corruption within the council.
