Investigation finds no wrongdoing by Charlotte City Council

A third-party investigation by a Charlotte law firm found no evidence of unethical, immoral or illegal conduct by members of Charlotte City Council.

In July, the city hired the Cranfill Sumner law firm to examine allegations of potential misconduct made by at-large council member Victoria Watlington in early May.
