Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police’s University City Division officers have made significant arrests following an investigation into a loitering complaint, resulting in multiple firearms and narcotics seizures in Charlotte. According to a report on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Facebook page, on Sept. 28, officers attended the scene in the 3100 block of Brockhampton Court, where they found a vehicle blocking others and detected the scent of marijuana.
Upon further inspection, law enforcement detained four individuals after noticing concealed weapons. Their search of the vehicle uncovered several concealed firearms and suspected marijuana. It was following an interview process that officers learned of additional marijuana at one of the suspects’ residences. A subsequent warrant-led search resulted in the seizure of approximately 3565.5 grams of suspected marijuana, cash, and various firearms, including a Glock 19 modified to shoot fully automatic…
