Coach with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools charged after shooting into a home, police say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A coach with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools was charged on Wednesday for allegedly firing a weapon into a home in southwest Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Charlotte police said on Wednesday, Oct. 22, that the York County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested 27-year-old Dia’Mond Johnson.

Johnson was transferred into the custody of the York County Sheriff’s Office and is now awaiting extradition…
