Charlotte Police Seize Guns and Drugs in Traffic Stops, Three Arrested on Various Charges

Earlier this month, North Tryon Division officers conducted a series of traffic stops across Charlotte, resulting in the seizure of guns and drugs. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) reported on a social media post that the stops led to multiple arrests and the confiscation of narcotics and firearms.

On October 12, officers stopped a vehicle for reckless driving on the 6700 block of N. Tryon Street. During the search, they found approximately 1.1 pounds of suspected marijuana, about 18 grams of suspected MDMA, and related paraphernalia, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
