New Jersey-based flooring company Mannington Mills recently announced that it plans to exit the residential carpet business and close several of its factories, including one in Gaston County.
The move will eliminate 296 jobs at the facility, located at 200 Saxony Drive in McAdenville, according to a notice filed with the state.
