Former assistant fire chief in North Carolina charged with felonies for buying 4 work-related books

STANLEY, N.C. (WBTV) – The former assistant fire chief for a small town in Gaston County is charged with eight felonies for using a work card to purchase four books without authorization during his employment for the town.

The indictments were filed in Gaston County Superior Court on Tuesday, with arrest warrants issued for Michael Hullett on Wednesday.
