Testimony continues in Brooks’ Sandwich House murder trial

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Testimony continued Monday in the trial of two men accused of killing Scott Brooks, the beloved co-owner of Brooks’ Sandwich House in NoDa.

On Monday, the prosecution introduced more evidence and heard testimony from DNA experts who work for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Prosecutors say this DNA evidence was used to identify the suspects, Terry Connor Jr. and Steven Staples.
