CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — It was a large-scale community effort Sunday to feed dozens of people on Charlotte’s west side.
Several chefs and non-profits put together a free Thanksgiving dinner at First Baptist Church.
“I don’t think anything beats the excitement of seeing somebody eat a good meal and the joy they get from it,” said Chef Greg Collier, a James Beard Award finalist and owner of Bayhaven Restaurant Group.
