East Charlotte community rallies to support neighbors and businesses following Border Patrol sweeps

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — East Charlotte neighbors and business owners are still reeling from the impact of last week’s immigration enforcement sweeps across the city.

On Sunday, some businesses were offering each other help. They held an event called ‘Break The ICE’ on Central Avenue near Hawthorne Lane.
