CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Newly released bodycam footage is providing more insight into an encounter officers had with Decarlos Brown months before he was charged in a deadly light rail stabbing in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department made several videos available to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 25, following a court order.
It captures a January 19, 2025, welfare check in the 200 block of Hawthorne Lane, outside of Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital.
