CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Drivers heading past Charlotte-Douglas International Airport are running into heavy delays following a crash.
Wilkinson Boulevard was fully shut down near Barry Drive after an accident brought down power lines. Several lanes started to reopen just before 4 p.m.

According to Medic, one person sustained minor injuries. Emergency crews are at the scene, and power crews are working to clear the lines so the road can fully reopen.
