OHIO — A North Carolina woman is facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized nearly $550,000 worth of suspected cocaine during a traffic stop in Jackson County.
Troopers initiated the stop around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 35 at the East Broadway Street exit after noticing a vehicle traveling well above the speed limit. During the stop, a K-9 unit alerted officers to the possible presence of narcotics.
