Tip leads officers to finding four pounds of drugs in Charlotte man’s apartment: CMPD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man has been charged after being found with more than four pounds of drugs, including marijuana and cocaine, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

On November 25, officers responded to an apartment complex on the 4300 block of Yancey Road due to an anonymous tip about someone selling narcotics.

According to court documents, the suspect, 25-year-old Pierce Cerda, had two vehicles in the parking garage. In one of them, officers could see marijuana and a box of 500 rounds of 9mm ammunition…
