Sheriff McFadden addressing concerns with Iryna’s Law

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — On Monday, Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry L. McFadden is holding a press conference to discuss his concerns with the newly passed House Bill 307, aka “Iryna’s Law.”

It’s named after Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee who was stabbed to death in a random attack on Charlotte’s light rail system.
