CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A juvenile offender who had more than 275 charges across North and South Carolina was arrested two more times in Charlotte this fall.
The suspect was placed on probation in August and extradited to South Carolina after being charged with dozens of vehicle break-ins between April and June. Then in October, officers say the juvenile was involved in a vehicle pursuit with Mooresville Police Department after being observed breaking into multiple vehicles.

After wrecking the vehicle, the suspect was taken into custody, landing an additional 15 charges, including several for possessing stolen firearms. However, MPD’s request for a secure custody order was denied, and the suspect was released to their guardian.
A month later, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officials say the juvenile continued their criminal activity in the town. After allegedly stealing a car in North Division, they were involved in an armed carjacking and a shooting into an occupied dwelling of a residence associated with a known gang member, in Metro Division, all in the same night…
