The Charlotte City Council on Monday approved the purchase of three single-family homes in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood, part of a broader effort that aims to address homelessness, crime and other quality-of-life issues along a small section of the Beatties Ford Road Corridor.
The purchase was approved unanimously in the council’s first business meeting of the new term, which saw three new council members take their seats at the dais.
