Molson Coors Beverage Company will partner with the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) to offer free public transit rides on New Year’s Eve 2025. The Free Rides program, now in its 37th year, will run from 5 a.m. on December 31, 2025, to 2 a.m. on January 1, 2026. All CATS services, including buses, light rail, and streetcars, are included. The program aims to provide safe transportation for residents and visitors.
Alison Hanrahan, community affairs manager at Molson Coors, noted that this year’s program aligns with the 50th anniversary of Miller Lite. She stated that the company values responsible celebration and community partnerships. The Free Rides program is part of Molson Coors’ efforts to promote alcohol responsibility.
