YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man has been charged after allegedly stealing money from a Burger King, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, 24-year-old DeQuinton Davion Walker allegedly sprayed cameras in the restaurant at 3400 Hwy 21 in Fort Mill. He demanded that the manager open the safe and left with about $200.
Four charged after police recovered stolen firearms in northwest Charlotte
A week later, on Dec. 11, Walker was arrested at his home, followed by warrants issued by the Rock Hill Police Department.
Walker is being held under a $7,500 bond in the York County Detention Center for:
- Possession of a stolen vehicle
- Resisting arrest
- Kidnapping
- Possession of a weapon during a violent crime
- (2 counts) Second-degree burglary
- Armed robbery with a deadly weapon
