Perhaps the most-high profile race in Mecklenburg County will be the race for sheriff. Garry McFadden is running for re-election and seeks a fifth term.
He will have three competitors, all fellow Democrats: Rodney Collins, Antwain Nance and Ricky Robbins. Collins and Nance each have worked under McFadden in the sheriff’s office, and Robbins is a retired sergeant with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department…
