Work on an addition to Kaitlyn McAndrew’s house in Ranlo was supposed to start July 7. The Fort Mill, South Carolina, man they hired to do it, Chad Brezeale, charged McAndrew and her husband, Colton, $19,000, according to McAndrew and court documents in the case.
Brezeale, according to McAndrew, posed as a licensed contractor. But when work didn’t progress as expected, McAndrew grew suspicious.
