Committee assignments are out, and Mayor Vi Lyles has made the decision to bring back the public safety committee.
“I made the decision to have safety addressed through its own committee. We recognize safety is a priority for our community and we wanted to have a more targeted and focused approach to addressing the issues,” said Mayor Lyles in a statement.
