WWII military aircraft trying to fly again after being grounded for over a year

DALLAS — December kicked off the start of a fundraiser to help put a rare World War II aircraft back in the sky.

“Diamond Lil” has been grounded for maintenance for more than a year, and now more than $6,000 remains to help restore the iconic warbird.
