CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A United States soldier reunited with his mother on Christmas Eve in Charlotte.
Joshua Tillman arrived at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on a flight funded by the nonprofit organization Miles for Military. The nonprofit provides flights for active service members for holidays as well as other moments that matter, as a trade for volunteer hours at a charity of their choice.
His mother said the news of her son returning home brought her to tears…
