YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A South Carolina woman has been arrested after authorities say she attempted to pass a fake expungement record to her manager.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) said that 60-year-old Kelly P. Wilkins was charged with forgery on Dec. 19 after the York Police Department requested the state agency investigate.
A warrant secured during that investigation alleges that roughly a year earlier, on Jan. 8, 2025, Wilkins prepared a fraudulent expungement letter regarding a prior shoplifting charge, which included a forged signature. The warrant states she then gave the letter to her manager…
