MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man previously arrested in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, for an alleged murder in Anson County, North Carolina, was found in Monroe after a miscommunication involving his extradition.
It started on October 14, 2025. Wadesboro officers responded to a home on Orchard Street, where they found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim, David Colston III, was transported to a local Atrium hospital, where he later died.
