North Carolina family-owned diner closes on New Year’s Eve after 60 years of business

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — After 60 years in the community, a north Charlotte family-owned diner closes its doors as the year comes to an end.

The Village Restaurant on North Graham Street announced on its website that New Year’s Eve will be their last day of business, saying the property is up for sale and its lease was not renewed.
