CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Many people are counting their blessings to start the new year.
For some, 2025 was full of challenges and fears about where they’d be able to get their next meal or basic needs. One Charlotte nonprofit says those challenges aren’t going away any time soon.
The shelves may look stocked at Block Love Charlotte, but Executive Director Deborah Phillips says they were giving away more food than they expected this holiday season. She says her team is gearing up to help even more people as we go into 2026…
