CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man missing since New Year’s Day has been found dead, according to the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office.
James Thomas Kluttz, 78, was last seen around 4 p.m. on Jan. 1 in the area of Lower Stone Church Road. Besides being blind in his left eye, Kluttz was physically fit, officials said.
After days of searching, deputies found Kluttz’s body. They did not say exactly where or when he was found; however, there is no reason to believe that his death was the result of suspicious activity…
