Arrest made after two women killed, juvenile hurt in south Charlotte crash: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charges have been filed against a man accused of causing a deadly crash in south Charlotte, police say.

Around 7:45 p.m. on December 27, officers responded to the crash near the intersection of Red Rust Lane and Ardrey Kell Road. When they arrived, they saw a 2011 Honda CR-V SUV off the roadway with extensive damage.

The driver, Lorin Elizabeth Manley, and the rear right passenger, Gloria Jeane Manley, were pronounced dead at the scene. A juvenile passenger was unconscious and was taken to Levine Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The juveniles’ current condition is unknown at this time…
