A man was arrested after driving his car through the front entrance of BargainMax in Eastridge Mall following a confrontation over a gold-plated “Sears” sign. According to the Gastonia Police Department’s Facebook page, no one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon. BargainMax confirmed the store will remain closed for the rest of the day and possibly into tomorrow while staff manage the damage…
