SALISBURY — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a teenager that has been missing since Dec. 26, 2025.
Thirteen-year-old Johnathan Morales was first reported missing on Dec. 29, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Deputies were told that he had been missing for three days.
Early into the investigation, investigators reportedly learned that Morales had spoken to a friend and told him that he was in the Gastonia area, but did not say where or who he was with.
