Charlotte man found dead during annual homelessness count

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — For the second year in a row, a person has been found dead during the annual Point-In-Time Count in Mecklenburg County, an organizer confirmed to WCNC Charlotte.

A volunteer found the person near Woodlawn Road. The person’s cause of death is not immediately available.
