CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 68-year-old man has passed away, and a 91-year-old man has been hospitalized after an overnight fire, according to Charlotte Fire.
Around 1:48 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, several neighbors called 911 to report a home on fire in the 9200 block of Raintree Lane. This is in a neighborhood off Providence Road near Kuykendall Road.
Firefighters arrived to see flames coming from a single-story house. During the fire fight, crews searched the home and rescued two men. One of the men, a 68-year-old, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later passed away…
