CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A flight has landed safely at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) after being ‘illuminated’ by a laser, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The FAA says American Airlines Flight 3114 reported being struck by a blue laser around 7 a.m. on Thursday, about 5 miles from CLT. The flight arrived safely. The incident has been reported to local law enforcement and is under investigation.
