CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD is conducting a homicide investigation after firefighters located a body while investigating an east Charlotte apartment fire.
Firefighters working to evacuate residents found the woman’s body inside an apartment adjacent from the fire, according to Charlotte Fire.
