CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Visible changes are underway at the former Sycamore Brewing location in South End as the business moves forward with a new name and renewed mission following child sex charges filed against its former co‑owner.

Fresh blue paint now covers the light fixtures and planters outside the site, which is being rebranded as Club West Brewing. The smell of new paint still lingers, signaling the start of a reset for the well‑known space.
Craig Tweed, a motion graphic artist at Queen City News, said the choice of blue carries symbolism beyond aesthetics.
“It will show trust, power, confidence, and loyalty — all these things that a child is looking for,” Tweed said. “I believe Sycamore is trying to align themselves with those core principles.”…
