CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Four people were arrested last month in connection to a shooting investigation out of a northwest Charlotte hotel.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, on Jan. 23, officers responded to a larceny-from auto call for service in the 3500 block of Philemon Avenue, off of East 36th Street.
During the investigation, officers connected an abandoned vehicle to a shooting case across town that occurred less than an hour before.

A court affidavit indicates that officers responded to the Econo Lodge on Glenwood Drive, where a Chevrolet Cobalt was found with multiple bullet holes in the driver’s side and windshield.
