Union County Public Health is warning residents after a person with confirmed measles visited a QuikTrip in Indian Trail, potentially exposing customers who stopped in for gas and snacks. According to Union County Government, the possible public exposure happened at the QuikTrip at 5650 W. Highway 74 on Friday, Jan. 30, between about 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., when the infected person entered and remained in the store. At the time of the county’s notice, there were no confirmed secondary cases in Union County tied to that visit.
