Woman accused of murder calls 911 after shooting in North Carolina; says woman tried to take her gun during drug deal

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have identified the young woman killed in a Sunday afternoon shooting in east Charlotte.

Officers were called shortly after 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, to the 3000 block of Timber Hollow Drive for an assault with a deadly weapon.

As officers arrived, they found Jordan Symone Davis, 22, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was rushed to a local hospital, where she was tragically pronounced deceased…
