CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Officers with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police’s Westover Division arrested a man after large amounts of suspected narcotics were seized from a home in west Charlotte.
Officers received a tip that a residence in the 2000 block of Piedmont Hills Place was allegedly housing narcotics. After further investigation, officers executed a search warrant on the home and seized:
- Four firearms, two of which were stolen
- Approximately 352.3 grams of suspected Promethazine
- Approximately 30 suspected Amphetamine pills
- Approximately 226.7 grams suspected Fentanyl
- Approximately 121.4 grams of suspected Heroin
- Approximately 859.5 grams of suspected Marijuana Oil
- Approximately 12,780.9 grams of suspected Marijuana Wax
- Approximately 9,804.5 grams of suspected Marijuana
- Approximately 136 grams of suspected Marijuana-infused food
- Approximately 916.7 grams of suspected Psilocybin
- 368 rounds of ammo
- Seven magazines
- Two gas masks
- Six scales
- Two grinders
- One set of body armor
- Approximately $1,989 in U.S. currency
Police say many of the narcotics were packaged and branded “in a manner for sale or distribution.”
As a result of the investigation, police arrested Daniel Torres, 25, and charged him with Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Heroin, Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, PWISD a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia…
