Beloved Jewish Deli to reopen in west Charlotte following hiatus

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Beloved Jewish deli Meshugganah will reopen Wednesday, Feb. 18 at City Kitch West End after closing in 2022 following owner’s wife Franki’s death from cancer.

The deli will operate as a ghost kitchen Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring a limited menu with classic Jewish desserts from Metzger’s.

The owner announced the reopening on Instagram, saying Meshugganah will start “not from scratch but from where we left off.”…
