CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential fire where they found a man who was dead.
Around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, crews responded to a structure fire on Balmoral Avenue in the Abbington neighborhood in Harrisburg. When they arrived, they found a man dead inside the residence. They did not say how he was killed, whether it was by fire or by other means.
The fire was controlled and the scene was secured. At this time, the cause of the fire and the circumstances of the man’s death are both under investigation.
