MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s Companies, Inc. plans to lay off hundreds of employees across the United States, including several in Ohio, the home improvement retailer confirmed after filing a federal WARN notice on February 13. State officials were notified that separations will begin April 19 and conclude by May 1.
The permanent layoffs will affect positions at Lowe’s two corporate campuses — the Store Support Centers in Mooresville and Charlotte, North Carolina — as well as remote and field locations nationwide. Company officials emphasized that neither campus will close as a result of the cuts.
