Some Ohioans included in Lowe’s mass layoff

OHIO — Lowe’s Companies, Inc. submitted a WARN Notice to the state, saying it plans to have a mass layoff of hundreds of employees across the U.S., some being from Ohio.

The layoff will include the Store Support Center in Moorseville, N.C. and the Store Support Center in Charlotte. The company said the layoffs will be permanent.

Of the hundreds being laid off, 17 are from Ohio, according to the WARN Notice. Many of the affected roles include remote positions, product managers, finance directors and asset protection auditors…
