Another Earthquake Just Struck Between Charlotte and Columbia with a Magnitude of 2.2

Another earthquake just struck under Lake Murray, between Columbia and Charlotte yesterday afternoon at 1:55pm.

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake had an epicenter of 34.072°N 81.245°W and a 4.0 km depth.

Last week, the US Geological Survey confirmed one of the largest earthquakes the Carolinas experienced in recent memory – a 3.0 magnitude quake struck on Thursday afternoon at 12:17 pm.
