Thrift Pony expands to LoSo with massive new thrift shop

A bigger, brighter Thrift Pony is opening Saturday in Lower South End.

Why it matters: The popular Charlotte resale shop is expanding its footprint with a standalone pink building twice the size of its Camp North End store.

Driving the news: The grand opening is Saturday, March 14, at 10am at 3110 S. Tryon St., next to Lenny Boy Brewing.

What to expect: Colorful racks of vintage and secondhand pieces, with everything from denim and cowboy boots to streetwear and vintage tees.

  • The second floor will be used as an event space for comedy shows, yoga classes and markets.

How it works: Consignment appointments are released weekly online. Check Thrift Pony’s Instagram for the latest updates…
