Club West Brewing, formerly Sycamore, reopens St. Patrick’s Day weekend under new ownership

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Club West Brewing, formerly known as Sycamore, reopened Saturday morning in time for the St. Patrick’s holiday weekend, and under new ownership.

This comes after the company’s owner, Sarah Taylor, announced she’s selling 100 percent of the business to longtime operations manager, Brad Bergman. The Charlotte Business Journal first reported on the potential sale of what was once one of North Carolina’s highest-producing breweries.

The brewery has been through a complete identity crisis since the former co-owner and Taylor’s estranged husband, Justin Brigham, was arrested on child rape charges.
